The Active Texan Triathlon at Lake Walk
We are excited to be hosting a sprint triathlon in the Bryan/College Station area benefiting the local nonprofit The First Win Foundation in honor of John C. Webb and presented by The Wilderness Experience. This event will be a great opportunity to get active and give back to the community.
Participants will have the chance to make their way to the finish line all while raising money for a great cause. Don’t forget to check out one of our sponsors The Active Texan Podcast to hear great stories from active people in our community.
The race will consist of a 400m swim, 12.7 mile bike, and 3.1 mile run at Lake Walk and in the surrounding Traditions neighborhood in Bryan, Texas. This will be a great race for both seasoned triathletes and those looking to complete their first multisport race. We also have a relay option for those who want to compete, but do not (or feel they can not) complete all 3 events.
Transition will open at 6am and close at 7:45am and the race will begin at 8am. Packet pickup will be held on Saturday September 30th outside at the pavilion at Lake Walk from 1pm to 7pm. We will also have packet pickup in the same location on race day October 1st from 6am to 7:30am
