History
The Scarmardo family saw the need for fresh, quality produce in the Brazos Valley and opened The Farm Patch Market in 1974. As time passed, the Farm Patch grew to become a renowned source of produce in the Brazos Valley and is widely recognized for its "old market" appeal.
In February 1989, Scarmardo Inc. partnered with what’s now UniProFoodService Inc., a leading foodservice distribution network in the United States. Now, The Farm Patch continues and is committed to serving customers with impeccable standards through their produce and authenticity.
The Farm Patch is now known as a go-to in Bryan, Texas, for fresh produce, plants, and other thoughtfully-sourced goods and imports.
What's In Store?
At the Garden Center, you'll find a beautiful variety of plants that are cared for by the Farm Patch garden staff. They have plants such as the vibrant Cora Vincas, succulents, house plants, Black Foot daisy, White, Trailing Lantana, and other seasonal favorites throughout the year. During the holiday season, The Farm Patch also sells Christmas trees!
The Farm Patch has a lot of high-quality, fresh produce. There's a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables including sweet apples, juicy strawberries, crunchy carrots, bright green cabbage, and much more. Planning a big meal? Get your next batch of ingredients at The Farm Patch!
The import room houses wonderful imports from around the world! It carries selected international beverages, condiments, grains, tea, coffee, snacks, and other amazing goods. If you're looking for something specific, ask the staff and they can help track it down for you!
Annual Pumpkin Patch
THROUGHOUT OCTOBER
Every year, The Farm Patch hosts an annual pumpkin patch to celebrate the harvest season and get into the fall spirit! It traditionally runs throughout the whole month of October, and is always fun way to enjoy fall festivities and create long-lasting memories with loved ones.
The Pumpkin Patch is full of bright orange pumpkins lined up alongside beautifully decorated fall photo ops! There are plenty of pumpkins that you can pick from to carve, decorate, or bake as you please. Bring your family, friends, partner, or kiddos with you for tons of fall fun — This is a great place to take photos, and they have fun activities like hayrides and corn mazes.
Pro tip: While you're there, you can also stop into the open-air market for fresh ingredients to create a delicious dessert!
