The BEE Community in Bryan, TX, is a nonprofit dedicated to providing meaningful work and a sense of belonging for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Their artisans create handmade goods while forming authentic relationships in a supportive environment that values ability and inclusion. Through partnerships with local businesses, schools, and churches, BEE also helps reduce isolation and raise awareness about disability employment. With 95% of adults with these disabilities in Texas unemployed, the organization works to change that by fostering opportunities for work, connection, and community impact.
