Bryan TX Songwriter Festival

The 2026 Bryan TX Songwriter Festival takes place October 9–10, 2026, in the heart of Historic Downtown Bryan. Performances will be held on the Free Main Stage and at several iconic downtown venues, creating an immersive weekend celebrating the art of songwriting.

Yes! The Main Stage is completely free to attend. Bring your lawn chair, gather your friends and family, and enjoy two days of incredible live music in Historic Downtown Bryan. Seating is not provided, so we recommend arriving early with a comfortable chair to make the most of the performances

Free street parking is available in marked spaces outside street closure areas. You can also park in the Roy Kelly Parking Garage located at 200 East 27th Street.

Be aware of the road closures in place from 12PM on Thursday, October 8th until 5AM on Sunday, October 11th.

Absolutely! The Bryan TX Songwriter Festival is designed to be enjoyed by music lovers of all ages. Families are welcome at the Free Main Stage, and Historic Downtown Bryan offers plenty of shopping, dining, and activities throughout the weekend.

Yes! If you are attending any of the Main Stage performances feel free to bring lawn chairs, towels, blankets, etc. The asphalt of Main Street won’t be a comfortable alternative! There is limited seating and grass areas within the viewing area at Gloria Stephan Sale Park. If you are a VIP Addon wristband purchaser, there will be a limited number of chairs provided in the VIP lounge at the Main Stage.

You can bring your own water to the Bryan Texas Songwriter Festival, but no coolers, backpack coolers, or outside alcohol are allowed in festival venues or the main stage area. There are multiple restaurants in Historic Downtown Bryan where you can buy food and drinks during the festival.

It can still be hot outside in October in Bryan, so it would be good to bring a handheld fan or an umbrella to stay cool. You can also bring your own water, but no coolers are allowed at the event.

Pets must be well-behaved and leashed in accordance with City of Bryan ordinances. Only service animals are permitted at the VIP add-on venues. There is a pet waste station available to the public at Gloria Stephan Sale Park within the viewing area of the Main Stage.

The VIP Add-On gives you access to intimate songwriter performances throughout the weekend, priority seating at participating venues, exclusive artist experiences, and additional festival perks. It's the best way to get closer to the music, the stories, and the artists behind the songs.

If availability remains, a limited number of single-day passes may be released on the day of the event. We recommend purchasing the full-weekend VIP Experience Add-On in advance to guarantee your spot.

Rain or Shine Event:

The Bryan TX Songwriter Festival is a rain or shine event. Performances are scheduled to continue as planned in light to moderate weather conditions. Please plan accordingly and dress for outdoor conditions.

Severe Weather or Safety Cancellation:In the event of dangerous weather conditions (including lightning, high winds, flooding, or other threats to public safety), the Festival reserves the right to temporarily suspend, delay, or cancel any performance in whole or in part. Safety decisions will be made by Festival management in coordination with city officials, emergency services, and venue partners.

Refunds for Cancellations: (VIP Experience Wristbands)

• If the Festival (in its entirety) is cancelled and not rescheduled, ticket holders will receive a full refund of the face value of the ticket.
• Refunds will be processed automatically to the original payment method used for purchase within 30 business days of cancellation.
• Service fees charged by third-party ticketing platforms (e.g., Eventbrite, Etix, etc.) may not be refundable depending on their individual policies.
  

Rescheduled Events:

If the Festival is postponed or rescheduled due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, all tickets will be honoredfor the new date(s). Refunds will only be available upon written request by the ticket holder within 14 days of the announcement of the new date.

Partial Cancellations:

If one or more performances are cancelled but the Festival continues in part, no refunds will be issued. Lineup changes, individual artist cancellations, or schedule adjustments do not constitute grounds for refund.

Donation Option:

As the Bryan TX Songwriter Festival benefits the Real Life Real Music Foundation, ticket holders may elect to donate their refund to support songwriter education and artist development programs. Instructions for donation conversion will be provided if applicable.
