Bison Baby Shower Returns to Lucky B Bison Ranch May 16

Destination Bryan and Lucky B Bison Ranch will host the annual Bison Baby Shower on Saturday, May 16, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, celebrating the newest additions to the ranch’s herd. This family-friendly event offers a rare opportunity to see baby bison up close while enjoying an afternoon of activities at the ranch.

Located in Bryan, Lucky B Bison Ranch is dedicated to the preservation and education of the American bison. Through community engagement and conservation efforts, the ranch provides visitors with a unique opportunity to learn about these iconic animals and their role in North American history.

Guests can enjoy interactive educational exhibits, a bounce house, live music, and sweet treats while spending time at the ranch. Attendees will also learn about bison conservation, participate in themed activities, and may get their first glimpse of the newborn calves. One of the highlights of the event is the “Name the Bison” contest, where guests can submit creative name ideas for the newest members of the herd.

“We’re delighted to share the bison with our community. The animal not only has a unique place in American history, but it’s good for our health and the health of our environment. And the babies, which usually are born in April and May, are beyond cute,” said Beverly Brown, co-owner of Lucky B Bison Ranch. “This event is a wonderful opportunity for families to connect with nature and experience these incredible animals.”

Tickets will go on sale Monday, April 6 and are expected to sell out. Those interested can sign up now on the event website to receive an email notification as soon as tickets become available.
