Located near the Village Café
Steamroll Printing Demonstrations
What has become an annual favorite, the steamroller printing combines the force of power machinery with the delicacy of lino printmaking. Join artists as they take a seat in a smooth drum compactor to roll thousands of pounds over linoleum stamps to press carefully applied ink to their final print. Steamrolled prints will be hung to dry and available for purchase.
Artists located throughout Art Fair
Plein Air Paint OutDuring Art Fair take time to watch various artists paint the scenic backdrop of Historic Downtown Bryan Fair! In the style of Plein Air, artists will bring their own art supplies, easels, chairs, and set up on any given corner of downtown to capture the life of downtown. Paintings will be for sale at the “Wet Sale” tent. Plein Air Paint Out is hosted by the Visual Art Society Bryan-College Station.
Kid-Friendly Fun
- Returning by popular demand - rock painting! Join us at the Kids Craft tent, grab a rock and paint marker and create your own piece of art to take home with you! Be sure to also take part in some classic sidewalk chalk fun too! The Kids Craft tent is sponsored by Renewal by Andersen.
Art Fair Main Stage
- Filling the streets with more than just art, the Downtown Street & Art Fair's main stage is located at the intersection of 26th Street and Bryan Avenue. Enjoy art demonstrations by The Purple Turtle Art Studio, live music by local musicians, and more!
Short Film Showing
- Sit back, relax, and watch various short films created by students in Texas A&M School of Performance, Visualization & Fine Arts at the Historic Queen Theatre located at 110 South Main Street. Be sure to also order some delicious bites & beverages from The Crown Bar located upstairs! All short films showing have a PG film rating. Admission is free!
Art Demonstrations & Seminar Tent
- Witness Steamroll Printing! What has become an annual favorite, the steamroller printing combines the force of power machinery with the delicacy of lino printmaking. Steam rolled prints will be hung to dry and available for purchase. Steamroll printing will take place in the alley next to The Village Café.

In the style of Plein Air, artists will bring their own art supplies, easels, chairs, and set up on any given corner of downtown to capture the life of Historic Downtown Bryan. Paintings will be for sale at the “Wet Sale” tent. Plein Air Paint Out is hosted by the Visual Art Society Bryan-College Station.
- New to Art Fair! Educational opportunities abound at the Seminar Tent located on Bryan Avenue. Learn about caring for your artwork, bookmark making, canvas wrapping, and more from local artists! Scroll below for more details and the seminar schedule.
- Anat Ronen returns to the Downtown Bryan Street and Art Fair to create incredible interactive art right in front of your eyes. Her street paintings come alive as they are done in an anamorphic, or 3D style. Learn more about Anat’s paintings here.

- Shop local goods & produce at the The Brazos Valley Farmers' Market located at the North end of downtown across from Blackwater Draw Brewing Co. from 8:00AM - 12:00PM.
- Enjoy mimosas and music by local musicians Joey Kipfer & Kristy Krueger while you shop at the eclectic Savage Diva boutique.
- Shop a stunning array of various artists and custom framing at The Frame Gallery and meet with Texas true crime author Pepper Anne!
- Check out an open studio at Vizlab and learn about the process of visual development and concept design!
- Stop by The Tipsy Trinket's pop up sale during Art Fair! Inside their shop, browse through locally handmade gifts, trinkets, snacks, and so much for the whole family!
- Opening early at 10:00AM, Vino Boheme is serving all sorts of delicious snacks and drinks during The Downtown Bryan Street & Art Fair!

10:30AM - 11:00AM - Caring for your Artwork for Artists and Collectors, with Missy Barron of The Frame Gallery (FREE)
11:00AM - 12:00PM - Linocuts and Bookmark Making, with Leticia Alston & Iva Banik ($15)
12:00PM - 1:00PM - Creating Abstract Florals with Gelli Arts Printing Plates, with Le Hale of Purple Turtle Art Studio. Create a one-of-a-kind monoprint to take home as an art fair memento. Each participant will learn the process of creating a print using a Gelli Arts printing plate and stencils. ($20)
1:00PM - 1:30PM - How to Stretch a Canvas, demonstrations by Missy Barron of The Frame Gallery (FREE)
1:30PM - 2:30PM - Hands on Crochet Class, with Lisa Urban. Participants will receive a small skein of yarn and a crochet hook to practice the groundwork of learning to crochet. ($25)
