Lonestar Meadery produces traditional meads, one of the oldest forms of alcohol. Their menu has 30+ varities to choose from with new favorites for each season. They offer glasses, bottles, flights, and often have specialty cocktails and other alcoholic sweet treats like mead ice cream.
Their tasting room is open Wednesday through Sunday, and is an ideal place to relax with friends or family in a cozy tavern atmosphere. They also offer Mead Old Fashioneds on Satuday, Mead-Mosas on Sunday, and have a variety of games to pick up and play while sampling mead.
It's owned and operated by three couples (pictured above) that have a passion for mead-making: Brandon & Kelsey, Matt & Ashley, and Tim & Cam. All three have a background in homebrewing. Brandon actually started Lone Star Meadery in his house as a homebrewing hobby back in 2020, and as the operations grew, other friends joined in to create an unstoppable team. You'll usually find one of them behind the bar, ready to talk about all things mead.
