Texas songwriting legend Walt Wilkins joins Bryan native Brock DeWald for an intimate Sunday afternoon of songs, stories, and conversation at The Kimbell.

Before performing across Texas, Brock grew up in Bryan, graduated from Bryan High School, attended Texas A&M, and built the roots that continue to shape his songwriting today.

Known for writing with uncommon honesty, Courtney creates songs that feel deeply personal while somehow finding their way into the listener’s own life. Her soulful blend of country, folk, and Americana draws from the Texas songwriting tradition, pairing a powerful voice with lyrics that are thoughtful, vulnerable, and beautifully direct.

Courtney comes to Hometown Sessions following the release of her newest album, Carry You With Me. The 2025 record marks a new chapter in her songwriting—reflective, resilient, and rooted in the experiences and people we continue to carry with us as life changes.
