Want to learn more about the history of African Americans in Brazos County? Participate in the Hunt for Black History in the Brazos series and enter your name to win a prize! This installment will focus on the Bryan area. All Ages allowed. Registration not required.
Here’s how it works:
- Pick up your “History Guidebook” at the Carnegie History Center or Clara B. Mounce Library between Feb. 2nd and Feb. 27th.
- Visit the locations in the Guidebook, follow the Objectives at each location, and write down the answers.
- Return your completed Guidebook to either the Carnegie History Center or the Clara B. Mounce Public Library in Bryan no later than Saturday, Feb. 28th at 5 PM.
You will be contacted if your name is drawn for a prize.
