From honoring Juneteenth and uplifting Pride Month to Independence Day festivities and grape-stomping fun at the Harvest Festival, Bryan’s calendar is packed with memorable ways to enjoy the season.
Juneteenth in Bryan
Bryan commemorates Juneteenth with a robust lineup of cultural events hosted by the Brazos Valley African American Heritage and Cultural Society and local partners.
Juneteenth Gospel Festival

Join the Brazos Valley African American Heritage and Cultural Society at Neal Recreation Center for an uplifting evening of joyful song, praise, and dance in celebration of freedom and resilience.
Juneteenth Parade
Saturday, June 21 | Begins at 10:00 AM
Witness one of Bryan’s most dynamic parades, featuring local businesses, community groups, and colorful floats. The parade winds through the city and sets the tone for a spirited day of celebration.
Juneteenth Celebration in the Park

Visit the Brazos Valley African American Museum in Bryan, the region’s official repository of Black history and culture. Admission is free throughout June. Donations are encouraged and support the museum’s mission of preservation and education.
Pride Month Festivities

Pride Coffee Social

Independence Day in Bryan
4th of July at RELLIS

Residents are invited to wear red, white, and blue and enjoy a spectacular fireworks and drone show at RELLIS campus on July 4. The event promises a fun-filled atmosphere to commemorate Independence Day.
First Friday

First Friday moves to the second Friday this July to extend Independence Day celebrations. Downtown Bryan fills with live music, local art, late-night shopping, and food vendors. This monthly tradition offers a festive way to spend a summer evening with the entire family.
