Established in 2000 by Alan Caldwell & Belender Wells, Fargo’s Pit BBQ has become a favorite for BBQ lovers all across the Lone Star State. The delicious variety of ribs, brisket, sides and everything else you come to expect from authentic Texas BBQ promises to satisfy even the biggest of appetites. They were even named one of Texas Monthly’s “50 Best BBQ Joints In The World.”

Located deep in the heart of Bryan, Texas & right down the road from Texas A&M University in College Station, Fargo’s is a family-run restaurant which is open Tuesday through Saturday.

In August 2005, as the Gulf Coast braced for the impacts of oncoming Hurricane Katrina, Korey Thomas and his family fled New Orleans and headed west. They managed to find their way to Bryan-College Station a couple days later, receiving a warm welcome from one of the friendliest communities in America. They decided to stick around for awhile, and now over 15 years later they’re still here sharing the flavors of their home city with residents and visitors in Aggieland.

The Remnant of Nawlins is a must-try in Bryan, offering cajun favorites like poboys, crawfish, gumbo, and more. They even offer seasonal items throughout the year, like King Cake on select days during Mardi Gras.

We recommend ordering their chicken fried steak with cream gravy and mashed potatoes with their savory brown gravy. Their sides of macaroni & cheese and green beans don't disappoint either! Don't wait too long to try it out for yourself!
