Downtown Bryan Street & Art Fair Draws Over 5,000 Attendees and Delivers Strong Sales for Local Artists and Businesses

BRYAN, TEXAS — Despite being rescheduled due to severe weather earlier in the month, the 2025 Downtown Bryan Street & Art Fair returned on Sunday, April 27 with strong community turnout and measurable economic impact. More than 5,000 people attended the event, which highlighted the work of 28 artists from across the Brazos Valley and surrounding region.
The artist lineup included 11 local artists from Bryan, College Station, and Hearne, along with 17 regional participants. Participating artists provided overwhelmingly positive feedback, with many reporting sales higher than those typically seen at other events. “It was a great event and I loved seeing the diversity of different art mediums,” shared Niel Brandon, owner of Niel J. Brandon Fine Art.
Downtown businesses also saw increased activity throughout the event. RX Pizza exceeded its average Sunday sales, an indicator of the event’s value in bringing residents and visitors into the heart of Bryan. “It’s great to see an event that brings people downtown and reminds them how much we have to offer. Days like this make a real difference for small businesses,” said Jake Mitchell, owner of RX Pizza.
Amanda Kile, Tourism Events Coordinator with Destination Bryan emphasized the importance of such events in supporting the local arts scene. “One of our biggest goals is to create opportunities for local businesses. Events like this really help make that possible,” said Kile. “From up-and-coming artists attending their first big event to our downtown businesses that have been here for decades, we love creating a space to highlight them.”
The event was free and open to the public, offering an accessible way for residents and visitors to explore downtown and engage with the arts.
The event was organized by Destination Bryan, along with the Downtown Bryan Street & Art Fair Committee, made up of downtown business owners, and local art enthusiasts, who dedicated the past year to planning and executing the event. Their work continues to support the creative community and strengthen Downtown Bryan’s reputation as a cultural hub in the Brazos Valley.
The Downtown Bryan Street & Art Fair is expected to return in 2026, with plans to build on this year’s success and continue providing a platform for artists and downtown businesses.
